The Power of Story Episode Four
Thursday, October 22
7:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Just being Christian in today’s society can, at times, feel like a constant confrontation. Being at odds with social norms is not an easy path to take, but it has been the way of the Christian for many years. Taking a look at the motivations in our own heart and the inner conflicts of our own lives can help us to seek resolution without blame. Remaining true to our faith, we will discuss how to resolve conflict with those we disagree with. We will talk about strategies on how to have these difficult discussions. We need to start from a place of humility and love and not from a place of “I am right and I have the truth”. Sharing personal experiences and stories is encouraged. Our goal is to examine our own hearts as to why we may be drawn to tough discussions and how to find a way through them that does not involve blaming.
