There are so many aspects of our story as we have learned in our past sessions. There are sorrowful parts, joyful parts, confusing parts, simple parts, some may even say boring parts, yet we learn that the Lord is present in all parts and weaves them all together. In today’s culture the notion of striving to thrive is what we has Catholic Christians must counteract and instead learn to abide by. Apart from God we can do nothing and thus we need to embrace our story in its entirety, with confidence that with the Lord He writes straights all our lines.

Pete Burak
Pete Burak is the director of id, the young adult outreach of Renewal Ministries. He is a graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville, and has a Master’s Degree in Theology from Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, Michigan. Pete is a frequent speaker on discipleship, evangelization, and young adult topics, and he is the co-director of Pine Hills Boys Camp. Pete and his wife, Cait, have four children.
