Foundations of Discipleship

id London Live

About the event

Part of being an intentional disciple is knowing that you are not alone, and that you are a part of a larger community. ID is based out of Ann Arbor, Michigan and as the London Chapter, this is where our community has its original roots. For this event, we will be joined by two members of the ID National Team from Ann Arbor, Jenny Zick and Rachel Herbeck. They are going to be sharing their roles on the team and how God is moving in them and in ID as a whole. Tune in to learn more about these women and the foundation of their discipleship.

Jenny Zick received her B.A. in Theology with a concentration in Pastoral Ministry from the College of Saint Benedict and St. John’s University in St. Joseph, Minnesota. While receiving her masters, Jenny served two years at a parish in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida before making the trek back to the North.

After a month living in Michigan, Jenny met her husband, David at an id Discipleship night. She spent the past three years working as a campus minister for the University of Michigan in the retreat, faith sharing, and prayer and healing ministries. In addition to working with id, during the next three years Jenny will be in the process of becoming a spiritual director through the Marian Servants of Divine Providence out of Clearwater, Florida.

Jenny has a heart for the Lord and serves His people by walking with them through one-on-one discipleship, engaging in prayer and healing ministry and helping people explore a life lived on fire with the Holy Spirit. Outside of ministry, you will find Jenny playing sports, board games, painting (being artsy) and spending time with family and friends.

More Info

Equipping young adults to be missionary disciples of Jesus Christ – id London Live is a series of online Catholic formation events from the London Ontario chapter of Intentional Disciples (id).

About id:

The mission of id is to form young adults into intentional disciples of Jesus Christ. id accomplishes this mission by inviting young adults into a new way of life – the life of an intentional disciple. id is more than just an event based ministry and being a part of i.d.9:16 is more than just attending a Disciples’ Night once per month. We not only want to introduce people to Christ who is the door but also to the path that leads to salvation. Part of the New Evangelization is the a renewed understanding and acceptance of what Pope Benedict called, “the art of living.”
