The John Paul II Family Centre is owned and operated by Family Foundations Institute as the campsite is home to FFI’s family-strengthening summer camping programs: Knight’s Quest Boys Camp, Anchor Camp for Girls, and Family Camp.

The centre is also available to rent for your own social or family gathering. JP2 centre offers brand new recreational facilities including an in-ground pool, large recreational hall, commercial sized kitchen, private bunkhouses, and a small meeting hall, all nestled in the picturesque, wooded area close to Port Burwell, Ontario.
Features
Main Hall
Main Hall has a fire code capacity of 125 people. Main hall has tables and comfortable padded folding chairs for seating of 85 people. Main hall is fully winterized, has A/C. Within main hall is commercial sized kitchen, small meeting room. Facility is wheelchair accessible.
Kitchen
Includes walk-in fridge, separate entrance for easy food deliveries, large freezer space, pantry storage, full line of dishes, cups and cutlery, standard supply of spices, standard supply of cooking supplies (baking dishes, pots, pans), serving platters, industrial grade kitchen sink, grill, 2 convectional ovens.
Washroom & Showers
Modern shower facilities (3 shower stalls for each) available in the men’s and women’s washrooms in the community center. Washrooms include 3 toilet stalls for each men’s and women’s. Large family/staff bathroom.
Wifi available if requested (additional cost).
Mini Hall
Located just steps away from cabin complex, the mini hall has 3 separate single washrooms (with shower in each). Mini Hall also has large meeting room (50-person capacity) with fridge & microwave. Meeting room has A/C and projector equipment for presentations, etc.
Cabins
There are 4 triplex cabin buildings on the JP2 Campsite for a total of 12 separate cabins. 8 of the cabins house 12 single bunks; 4 of the cabins are smaller and house 4 single bunks. Each bunk has new hospital grade nylon-plastic covered mattresses. Cabins are equipped with electricity and are winterized. Each cabin has windows and overhead fan (no A/C). Each cabin has key-lock entry. Site capacity is 64 bunks.
Pool
Modern 25,000-gal in-ground pool with spacious pool deck, pool deck benches and chairs included. Fully gated. Lifeguard not included.
Outdoor Activities
Large beach volleyball court, large coverall providing excellent outdoor space rain or shine, walking trails through wooded areas, gaga ball pit, soccer field, golf-frisbee.
JP2 is a pet-free campsite.
