This weekend retreat takes place at the John Paul II Cultural Centre in Port Burwell, Ontario. The location is serene, rustic, and quiet – all qualities that we hope will encourage time of reflection and prayerfulness.

Pete Burak is the director of i.d.9:16, an outreach of Renewal Ministries seeking to form young adults into intentional disciples of Jesus Christ. He is a 2010 graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville, and has a Master’s Degree in Theology from Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, Michigan. Pete is a frequent speaker on discipleship and evangelization and has been featured on EWTN, Ave Maria Radio, and numerous other media outlets. He is the co-founder of the Millennial Church Conference, the co-director of Pine Hills Boys Camp, and a member of the USCCB National Advisory Council for Young Adult Ministry. Pete and his wife Cait have two girls, Gracie and Erin, and two boys, Donovan and Zeke.

Rachel Herbeck is a Chapter Coordinator for i.d.9:16. She is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas and holds a B.A. in Catholic Studies and Business. Rachel has previously worked in public policy for multiple non-profits, including the Minnesota Catholic Conference, advancing state and national policies to uphold human dignity. She has experience in youth and young adult ministry, as well as speaking and evangelization. After living in Minnesota, Rachel now resides in her home town of Ann Arbor, MI. She has a passion for proclaiming the Gospel and making Jesus known.

Ralph Martin is the president of Renewal Ministries and the host of the weekly Catholic television program The Choices We Face. He holds a doctorate in theology and is the director of Graduate Theology Programs in the New Evangelization at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in the Archdiocese of Detroit.
