Anchor Camp for Girls
Family Camp Cook Helper
Safe Food Handling
For the kitchen staff position at Anchor Camp or Family Camp, FFI can reimburse applicants for the completion of a Safe Food Handling Course. Our recommended course is offered through SafeCheck Learning.
A Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) Check is required for all staff 18 years of age and older.
FFI provides a form titled “Vulnerable Sector Screening Check” (linked above). This form can be used to apply for a police Vulnerable Sector Check online through opp.ca or through your local police service website. Processing times can take as long as 6 to 8 weeks, so if you are offered a staff position, it is advised that you begin this step right away to ensure the required documentation is submitted to FFI before the start of camp.
If you already have a VSS Check on file, please submit the Offence Declaration Form instead.
In subsequent years, returning staff will be asked to complete the Offence Declaration Form (provided by FFI). This form must be completed several weeks before the start of camp.
Please allow 10-15 seconds to process your submission. You will be automatically redirected to a thank you page. Do not refresh your browser.
