Family Camp

To facilitate strengthening family relationships and interactions with others, it is expected that both parents, if applicable, will be present at camp and that only family members (parents, children, grandparents, cousins) attend. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Our campsites have a ‘No Pet’ Policy. Photos and videos will be taken and may be used for promotion of the activities of Family Foundations Institute. If you have concerns with this, please contact us at info@famfi.ca.

Media Consent(Required)

Photos and/or videos may be taken to be used on Family Foundation Institute (“FFI”)’s website or social media platforms, in printed materials that illustrate our community for potential visitors. Reasonable efforts will be made by FFI not to identify participants by name. Review the FFI Privacy Policy.

Authorization for Communication(Required)

FFI (through its volunteers, employees, leaders, or other representatives associated with the Event) may communicate further with the Participant or your family to build connections, plan future events, and discuss past events. FFI may provide resources and communications to further develop your family’s understanding of future activities and events, delivered to the Participant’s home mailing address, and/or electronically.

I/we consent to receiving resources and communications from FFI to any of the above-mentioned contact methods. I/we understand that I/we may withdraw this consent at any time.

Consent, Indemnification & Release of Liability(Required)

I/we, on behalf of myself/ourselves, the Participant, my/our and the Participant’s heirs, executors, personal representatives, successors and assigns, hereby:

Represent that I am/we are the parent(s), legal guardian(s) or other authorized person(s) or organization with authority over the Participant.

Consent to the Participant participating in the Event, and/or possible use of photo and video.

Confirm that I am/we are aware of the usual risks and dangers inherent in participation in the activities associated with the Event and that serious injury is possible.

Delegate the authority to the Directors of the Event to arrange whatever medical treatment they deem necessary during the participants stay at camp. I/we further consent to the transportation of the participant from camp to a hospital if deemed necessary. In addition, I/we consent to the transportation of the participant on any excursion associated with the Event.

Acknowledge and agree that I/we remain legally responsible for any personal action(s) taken by the Participant, and I/we fully indemnify and save harmless FFI and its, directors, volunteers, employees, including chaperones or other representatives associated with the Event, from any claim for damages to person or property caused by the Participant.

Forever release and fully hold harmless and shall defend the FFI and its directors, volunteers, employees, including chaperones or other representatives associated with the Event, from any and all claims, causes of action and liability of every kind and character, including in connection with any loss or damage to person, property, illness or injury, or cost of medical treatment, arising from or in connection with (directly or indirectly) the Participant participating in and/or attending the Event (collectively, “Claims”) save and except for Claims arising from the gross negligence by FFI.

Authorization for Medical Treatment (when applicable)(Required)

I/we hereby:

warrant that to the best of my/our knowledge and belief, the Participant is in good health, and I/we assume all responsibility for the health of the Participant.

grant my/our permission for FFI to make arrangements for medical attention for the Participant without my/our prior approval if emergency treatment is reasonably required, and confirm that I/we will be notified as quickly as possible if this authority is exercised.

Agreement to Adhere(Required)

Please read the Anchor/Chipnee Trails Girls Camp Code of Conduct and the Anchor/Chipnee Trails Girls Camp Dress Code and the Knight’s Quest Boys Camp Code of Conduct.

As a camp we operate based on our clearly defined codes of conduct. For the enjoyment of all children participating in camp, and for the fruitfulness and success of camp, we require that all families participating in camp support and agree to adhere to our codes of conduct.

FFI reserves the right to decline booking, or terminate the stay of, participants whose behavior purposefully contravenes our codes of conduct. Thank you for your collaboration and your cooperation.

Family Camp Waiver and Informed Consent to participate in Sports/Outdoor Related Activities for Parents and Minors(Required)

It is my intention and desire for my family to participate in the Family Camp to be held at the campsite and on the date indicated above. I hereby acknowledge that I am fully aware of the nature and purpose of this activity and acknowledge that this activity is potentially dangerous and that I voluntarily accept any risk to my family. In consideration of my family being permitted to take part in these activities, I agree that we be bound by the rules of the camp and to obey the directions of the leaders of the activities. I agree to release, hold harmless and keep indemnified the organizers from and against all claims, actions, cost, expenses and demands in respect to death, injury, loss or damage to my family or property, howsoever caused, arising out of or in connection with taking part in this event, except insofar as any such loss, etc., is solely attributable to the negligence of the organizers and directors. I confirm that my family members are good physical health, and do not suffer from any physical disabilities unknown to the organizers.

I have read and understood this waiver and consent.

FFI Family Camp reserves the right to decline booking, or terminate the stay of, participants whose behavior purposefully contravenes our mission, value and code of conduct. Thank you for your collaboration and your cooperation.
